City and Guilds 6150 Qualifications
Working in Confined Spaces
City and Guilds 6150 courses are designed for those who are required to work in
confined spaces on water company premises in and around the UK.
These courses will enable delegates to develop the essential skill and knowledge
required and to pass a competency based assessment.
The training/assessment play an important part of planning, entering, working and
exiting Confined Spaces including using breathing apparatus as part of the planned means of self-rescue.
The City and Guilds 6150 certification allows successful delegates to show proof of
post-training competency to an employer or client which:
- this qualification will be a direct benefit when tendering as a contractor.
- demonstrates an investment in personnel and their safety.
- will allow an auditable trail when required.
On the successful completion of any of these qualifications the delegate can register the qualification
with City and Guilds and will be recognised for a period of three years.
